Level 5 Terror Hotel consists of 3 different floors, which are The Main Hall, The Hotel and The Boiler Room.

How to Solve the Painting Puzzle in Terror Hotel

The level begins in The Main Hall with a picture puzzle. You need to press the buttons under the portraits in order from youngest to oldest. Here is the order you need to press them in:

How to Get the Moth Jelly and Trade It for the 3 Keys

After that you need to use the Bug Spray and locate swarms of male deathmoths and spray them. They will drop Moth Jelly, which you can trade in to get keys to unlock the door. The swarms are spread around the rooms in random locations.

At the end of the hallway is a little elevator where you can trade the Moth Jelly to get a key. You will need 3 keys.

With the 3 keys you can unlock the door in the middle of the hallway and progress to the next floor.

All 3 Terror Hotel Number Lock Codes

The second part of the Terror Hotel is The Hotel, which is a bunch of hotel rooms. There is a mailbox with a couple of open boxes on it. The numbers on the open boxes match the numbers of different rooms in the hotel. In the rooms that have an open mailbox, there will be a paper on the drawer inside the room which you need to collect in order to obtain the code for the exit door. There is also a Hound and a Skin-Stealer entity that roam around.

After you fill all the mailboxes, the code will appear on the ceiling and you can unlock the number lock. However, you can skip this entire portion of the level because the number lock only has 3 possible codes, which are 17564, 05938 and 89472.

Escape The Backrooms Hotel Map (Boiler Room Route)

The final part of the Terror Hotel is The Boiler Room, which is a giant maze where your goal is to just find the exit. There are also Female Deathmoths, which you can avoid by crouching around them or if they start chasing you, you can use one of the valves on the walls to blast them with hot air and they will stop chasing you. Here is a map you can follow to get to the exit without getting lost:

After you get to the end you will find the exit and you can complete the level.
