How to Beat the Parking Garage Level in Escape The Backrooms

Part 1: The Garage Elevator Color Code

Level 1 Habitable Zone (Garage) is split into 5 parts. In the first part, you have to find the code for the elevator. To get the code for the elevator, go to the room shown on the image.

There you will find cars with different colors, remember the color of each car and then input those colors on the elevator. The order doesn't matter. There could be multiple cars of the same color. For example, if 2 cars are blue, 1 car is red and 1 car is green, the code is 2 blue buttons, 1 red button and 1 green button.

Part 2: All 4 Key Locations

In the second part of the level, you will need to collect 4 keys spread around the rooms. The keys can be inside the cabinets, on the tables or inside the table drawers. There is a Skin-Stealer entity which will chase you during this part of level 1.

After you collect all the keys, head to the room in the center of the garage and turn on all 4 keys to unlock the door.

Part 3: Finding the Elevator

In the third part of the level, you need to locate the elevator behind one of the doors. There is a Skin-Stealer entity which will chase you during this part of level 1 as well. There are 3 floors on which the elevator can be. There is only one possible elevator spawn for each floor. If there is a locked door on one of the floors, that means that the elevator isn't on this floor.

Part 4: How to Hack the Security Terminal Code (MEG Door)

In part 4, you need to unlock the gate. In order to do that, you need to go to The Hub and then go inside the MEG Base (a single door opposite of the rest of the doors). To access the MEG Base, you need to complete the MEG door code puzzle on the security terminal. The puzzle is very simple, just match the code on the right to any of the 3 codes on the left and once you have a match, press M1, do that 3 times and you will unlock the door.

After that, use one of the computers and run Gate.exe to open the gate. The computer password is always "itheardyou".

Part 5: Surviving the Smilers Hallway

The final part of the level is behind the unlocked gate. The lights will turn on and off and you will need to run to one of the hallways when the lights are on. If you don't get to one of the hallways in time and the lights turn off, the Smilers will kill you.

Each hallway has 2 doors. In one of these hallways, one of the doors is the exit from the level.
